ah, where shall I begin? I have aspirations of world domination solely for the purpose of outlawing the hours between 4-6am as "stupid o'clock" unless you haven't gone to bed yet, in which case, it is okay to be awake. I love to sew and I generally make my own patterns, though it may take a few tries, but that is what el-cheapo muslin is for! I generally feel more creative that way. I love Ren Faire, in particular Maryland Faire, where I work during it's season, which--for those inquiring minds who want to know--runs from the last weekend in August to the third weekend in October. My name is Leslie, but most know me as Mouse, especially at Faire. There can be only one, and I am it! It's kind of sweet, because people I don't even know are defending my title! =) I sail on the pirate ship "Potomac Leather Company" under Captain Bill Watson as first mate, and am accompanied by our purser, Amanda, who is also known as Amandamouse, because half of the day Bill is calling me Amanda and her Leslie, so we decided this would just be easier because he can talk to either of us this way. We also have our quarter-master, Chris, who is also known as the Baby Dumpling of Darkness, the beautiful Jenna and our cabin-elf, Andrea. Our sister ship is "Wolfstone Kilt Company" run by Bill's wife, Virginia, along with the love o'my life, Mike, Rory (Queen of Scots), the ever energetic Marion, and Kathy. Between the two of them (Bill and Virginia, I mean) they own our souls. I collect souls--they're really very small and compact, you know.
